§ 86. Mrs. PHILIPSONasked the Minister of Health why the Ministry has not sanctioned the request of the Ainwick Urban Council for sanction for 16 subsidies under the 1923 Act?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI assume that the hon. Member is referring to correspondence which has taken place between my Department and the Alnwick Urban District Council regarding the sale to private persons of 16 plots of land owned by the council. It has been found necessary to suggest a slight modification of the proposed arrangements, but I understand that revised proposals are being submitted by the council, and I anticipate that it will be possible to give approval at an early date.
