§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDI have no official information as to the number of vacant berths in the shipbuilding yards of Great Britain. The number of persons in the shipbuilding industry insured under the Unemployment Insurance Acts who were recorded as unemployed on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Great Britain on 23rd February, 1925, was 76,661, or 32'8 per cent.
