§ The SECRETARY for SCOTLAND (Sir John Gilmour)No general statistics upon this subject are available. In connection with the sale of higher-grade milk the Scottish Board of Health have received intimation of the existence of 31 dairy herds in Scotland certified to be free from tuberculosis. These figures should not be taken as representing the total numbers of such herds, but only as comprising such cases as are, intimated to the Board of Health for the purpose stated.
