§ The PRIME MINISTERThe question of the co-ordination of the Services was exhaustively inquired into in 192:3 by a Sub-Committee of the Committee of Imperial Defence under the Chairmanship 235 of Lord Salisbury, and the Report was presented to Parliament (Cmd. 2029). That Report has been put into operation, and it is not considered desirable to reopen the question.
