Lieut.-Colonel DALRYMPLE WHITEasked the Under-Secretary of State for the home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of works, whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that matches manufactures in Czechslovakia are now being supplied to the House of Commons; and whether he can assure that, as far, as is possible, only articles of home or Dominions manufacture shall be use in all Government Departments?
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONI am aware that foreign matches are being supplied to the House of Commons. The present contract expires on the 31st May next, and I will certainly give full weight to the Hon. Members suggestion before entering into a new contract.
