§ 38. Mr. LIVINGSTONEasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he has any information regarding the proposed commercial treaty between Germany and the Union of Socialist Soviet Republics?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINNegotiations for a commercial treaty between Germany and the Soviet Union opened in Moscow on the 15th November, and are new, understand, being resumed after an adjournment. So far as I am aware, the negotiations cover the subjects ordinarily treated of in commercial treaties.
