WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe number of gardeners and caretakers employed in France and Belguim under the Imperial War Graves Commission at the present time is approximately 940, of whom 483 have their wives and children with them. 557 of the children are under 14 years of age, and they are admitted both in France and Belgium to the local State schools or to the schools conducted by the Church, at either of which an exceedingly good general education is given
