Colonel DAYasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if his attention has been drawn to the need for a large increase in the number of sanitary inspectors required in East Africa; and will he state whether any steps are being taken towards meeting this demand by the training of native sanitary orderlies, to work under the supervision of district medical or administrative officers?
§ Mr. AMERYThis question is dealt with in the Report of the East Africa Commission, and I shall not fail to refer to it in communicating with the various Governments in regard to the Report.
