Mr. GUINNESSNot from the Reparation Commission. We have advanced a far larger sum than we shall receive for many years to come.
§ Mr. MACLEANIs it not the fact that the sum advanced was only part of that which was to be used, and that the general impression made when that statement was issued was that a still larger sum would eventually be available for distribution?
Mr. GUINNESSI do not know what impression may have been caused in certain quarters, but certainly there is no foundation for it as far the British taxpayer is concerned.
