Mr. THURTLEasked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he will cause inquiries to be made in the ease of Srijut Satyendra Chandra Mitra, M.L.C., who, on 8th May, 1925, was reported to be suffering from ill-health in Mandalay Gaol; and whether, in view of the heat and lack of adequate medical attention at this prison, he will cause him to be transferred to a more healthy station?
§ Earl WINTERTONThe report referred to in my answer of Tuesday last indicated that the individual cases of ill-health were being carefully treated, and that the medical attendance was quite adequate.
