HC Deb 29 July 1925 vol 187 c403
1. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he can give any estimate of the number of British subjects resident abroad otherwise than in the British Empire; and what is the normal and approximate number of British subjects who visit foreign countries from this country in a year without taking up their residence abroad?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Austen Chamberlain)

There is no information available or procurable which would enable me to give even a rough estimate, in reply to either part of the hon. and gallant Member's question.
