HC Deb 23 July 1925 vol 186 cc2398-9
46. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Prime Minister whether consideration has been given or will be given to the question of the better co-ordination of the staffs of the Royal Navy, His Majesty's Army and the Royal Air Force by means of a Ministry of Defence or a joint general staff, or in some other way; and whether he expects to be able to make any proposals to this end in the near future?

The PRIME MINISTER

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I gave on the 19th March last in reply to a question by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Uxbridge (Lieut.-Commander Burney).
