HC Deb 23 July 1925 vol 186 c2411
89. Captain DIXON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, in view of the proved value of the Belfast shipyards in war time, he will consider giving them some Admiralty work, either building or repairing?

Mr. DAVIDSON

The facilities available at the Belfast shipyards are borne in mind, and opportunities have been afforded them of tendering for work within their capacity as requirements have arisen.
