HC Deb 22 July 1925 vol 186 cc2212-3
86. Sir F. WISE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the total staff of the Reparation Commission, etc., and the nationality of the various members employed?

Mr. GUINNESS

The Agent-General for Reparation Payments in the Report recently published states that his staff on the 1st May last consisted of 129 persons, of whom 14 were American, 38 French, 43 British, 15 Italian, 10 Belgian, and nine Dutch nationals. Apart from this, I have no particulars as to the total numbers or the nationality of the staffs of the Reparation Commission, which, the hon. Member will recollect, is an international body not responsible to His Majesty's Government.
