HC Deb 22 July 1925 vol 186 c2187
30. Sir B. FALLE

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether he will take steps to obtain the special treatment for naval attributable lunatic cases under the scheme of national health insurance, in order that the patients' pensions may be made payable to their wives?

Mr. DAVIDSON

As stated in the reply given to my hon. Friend on the 18th June, the pensions of naval lunatics are disposed of under the Lunacy Acts and the Naval Regulations, and the institution having charge of the pensioner has first claim on the pension. I regret I am unable to recommend any alteration of the present position.
