HC Deb 20 July 1925 vol 186 c1835
77. Sir F. SYKES

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has drawn up, and, if not, whether he will draw up at an early date, a schedule of articles of definitely luxury type with a view to imposing taxation thereon and relieving taxation in other directions in the Finance Bill of 1926?

Mr. GUINNESS

I regret that I cannot add anything to the statement that the Chancellor of the Exchequer made on the Third Reading of the Finance Bill on the subject of luxury taxation.
