HC Deb 15 July 1925 vol 186 c1285
74. Mr. THURTLE

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the case of Mrs. A. Gibbons, of Brixton, who is at present serving a sentence of two months' imprisonment in Holloway Gaol for the offence of secreting her adult son; and if he will consider the various extenuating circumstances in connection with the case with a view to recommending the remission of the remainder of the sentence?

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

Yes, Sir, and, having made inquiry, the Home Secretary has felt justified in advising the remission of the remainder of the sentence passed upon Mrs. Gibbons.
