CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe question of the compulsory indication of the country of origin of imported goods has been under the consideration of the various trade interests concerned, who have, however, up to the present been unable to agree as to the policy to be pursued. While it would be impossible to pass legislation this Session, I agree with my hon. Friend that the question deserves, and it is receiving, careful consideration.
