HC Deb 13 July 1925 vol 186 c850
33. Colonel DAY

asked the Undersecretary of State for the Home Department, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, what has become of the statues that were removed from Westminster Hall during its rebuilding and reconstruction; and, in view of their public interest, will he take steps to have these statues replaced in their original positions?

Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSON

The statues in question were lent to the- City Corporation in 1013. The First Commissioner does not propose to have them replaced in Westminster Hall.
