Mr. AMMONasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received any reply from the Governor of the Bahamas with reference to the recently issued prospectus of the Bahamas International Trading Company, which indicated that the president, two vice-presidents, and other members of the Legislative Assembly are members of the board?
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREI have received telegrams from the Governor of the Bahamas which contain some information, but indicate that a full report will be sent by post. I propose to await the arrival of the full report before making any statement on the matter.
