HC Deb 09 July 1925 vol 186 c581
7. Mr. MARCH

asked the Minister of Pensions how many local authorities have made representations to him for an amendment of the War Pensions Act, 1921, with a view to the abolition of the seven years' limit in respect of claim to pension by men who are still suffering from a renewal of their disability after their pension has ceased; and whether the Government propose to take any action to meet the proposal made by such authorities?

Major TRYON

Representations in identical terms regarding the matters referred to have been received from 14 local authorities. With regard to the last part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by me on the same subject in replying to the right hon. Member for Deptford on the 25th ultimo, of which I am sending him a copy.
