HC Deb 06 July 1925 vol 186 cc19-20
53. Commander OLIVER LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Prime Minister whether he will receive a deputation from British creditors of Russia before the adjournment of the House?

The PRIME MINISTER

Unless the British creditors in question have any new point to raise, I do not think any useful purpose would be served by them repeating to me views of which I am fully cognisant and which moreover have been, and are being, exhaustively discussed by them with the officials of the Foreign Office and the Board of Trade.

Mr. HARDIE

Is there any arrangement between this Government and the Russian Government on behalf of the British creditors?

The PRIME MINISTER

The hon. Member should address that question to the Foreign Office.
