Mr. RHYS DAVIESasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has yet carried out the suggestion made by the British representative at Buenos Aires in February, 1923, to appoint a Consul for the Chubut Valley, Argentine; and, if not, will he give the matter immediate consideration?
Mr. SAMUELThe appointment in question was deferred owing to the absence from the territory of Chubut of the gentleman to whom it was proposed to offer the appointment. His Majesty's Minister at Buenos Aires has been asked by telegraph whether the appointment can now be made.
