asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to inform the House what the Government propose to do in connection with the war pensions national public petition and the points raised by the deputation from the British Legion which waited on the Minister of Pensions on 31st October, 1925?

I have been asked to reply. The position of the Government on the proposals made in the petition was fully stated in the reply given to my hon. and gallant Friend by the Prime Minister on the 19th ultimo. With regard to the subordinate points which were put to me by the recent deputation. I hope to be able to send a. reply in the course of the next few days.
