§ Sir K. WOODI am afraid the information for which the hon. Member asks in the first part of his question is not available. As regards the second and third parts, my right hon. Friend is advised that this disease may be detected by careful clinical examination within from two to three weeks after infection and that there is no basis for the suggestion that the disease is due to improper or inadequate diet.
