§ Mr. SEXTON (by Private Notice)asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that summonses have been served on the tenants of 16 houses at St. Helen's, Lancashire, to deliver up possession on 15th January next, and, in view of excessive housing shortage in the district, if he can see his way to expedite the plans for a building site in the same district which is now before his Department?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI assume that the houses in question are those referred to in the question addressed by the hon. Member to the Secretary of State for War on Tuesday, the 8th instant. With regard to the last part of the question, I sanctioned the necessary loan for the erection of 52 houses on the 11th instant.
