§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Commander Eyres Monsell)
This is a purely Consolidating Bill and has only just come down, with a certificate stating that the Bill is a Consolidating Bill. In view of the fact that these Consolidation Bills are for the general convenience of the House, I hope we shall be allowed to pass it.
§ Mr. CLYNES
I understood that Government business was to be limited to matters which have now been disposed 1522 of, but I have no objection to the Committee stage of this Bill going through.
§ Resolved, That this House will immediately resolve itself into the Committee on the Bill. — [Commander Eyres Monsell] Bill accordingly considered in Committee, and reported, without Amendment.
§ Bill to be read the Third time To-morrow.
