§ Mr. McNEILLI presume that by legal tender in this connection my hon. Friend means legal tender notes. On that assumption, the figures are, for 30th June, 1914, £56,926,000 and 67.6 per cent., and for 30th October, 1925, £403,558,000 and 36.8 per cent.
