§ Colonel ASHLEYThe question of the degree of comfort to be afforded on London tramcars is not one over which I have jurisdiction. It is a matter for the tramway authorities themselves, to whom it is undoubtedly a matter of considerable importance from the point of view which my hon. Friend indicates in the latter part of his question.
