HC Deb 03 August 1925 vol 187 cc948-9
31. Mr. R. RICHARDSON

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the allegations of ill-treatment made by a probationer nurse lately in the employment of the West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth, against the matron of the West Middlesex Hospital; and whether he will institute an inquiry into this matter?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of HEALTH (Sir Kinglsey Wood)

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to a previous question of his in relation to this case. My right hon. Friend is not aware of any grounds for reconsideration of the view he then expressed.

Mr. RICHARDSON

Is the hon. Gentleman aware of the urgency of this matter, and will he not make some further inquiries?

Sir K. WOOD

If the hon. Member has any further facts to put before me, I shall be very glad to go into them.
