Mr. CHAMBERLAINI am always prepared to consider proposals from local authorities for the acquisition of recreation grounds. Extended powers to local authorities are proposed in the Public Health Bill, which received a Second Reading on the 20th of March last, and I hope that those proposals will be passed into law.
