asked the Minister of Labour how many workshops for disabled men are receiving a subsidy of £25 per head of the men employed; and where the workshops are situated?

Grants in aid of the employment of severely disabled ex-service men are bring paid to 17 workshops, situated in London, Bournemouth, Brookwood, Burnley, Col-chester, Enham, Lancaster, Liverpool, Langton, Newcastle, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. The maximum rate of grant is £35 per annum in respect of each severely disabled ex-service man employed, and the total amount paid in any year is fixed so as not to exceed half the loss sustained by the institution on the previous year's trading.
