I regret that I am unable to make a statement on this matter.

Mr. HANNON

Has not this matter been hanging over for a very long period, and would the right hon. Gentleman consider the importance to the country of his being able to make a statement in the near future?

There are many other important matters which will be the subject of legislation; obviously, it would be impossible for one Department to monopolise the whole time of the House.
