§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERI would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Newcastle West (Mr. Palin) on the 10th March. The quotations which I then gave were recent ones for ordinary quantities, but the prices in foreign countries are so diverse, and the sterling equivalents are so affected by variations in rates of exchange, that comparisons on the basis suggested would, I think, be misleading.
