asked the Prime Minister whether he can state what is the attitude of the Government to the Soviet Government; and, in paricular, what plans, if any, the Government have for promoting increased trade with Russia?

I have nothing to add to the full statement made by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the course of the Debate on the Address on 15th December last. Any trade that is possible under existing conditions can be done under the Trade Agreement.
