HC Deb 01 April 1925 vol 182 c1309
40. Mr. GIBBINS

asked the Minister of Labour what countries have not yet ratified the various International Labour Conventions?

Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND

I would refer the hon. Member to the statement which I circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT on the 24th February, in reply to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Abingdon. I am sending him a copy of this statement. The only alteration since notified is that Belgium has ratified the three draft Conventions concerning the minimum age for admission of children to employment at sea, provision of unemployment indemnity in case of loss or foundering of the ship and establishment of facilities for finding employment for seamen.
