§ 7. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has received any information with regard to the loss of the s.s. "River Dare" off St. Vincent while on a voyage from Huelva to Liverpool with a cargo of copper ore; if his attention has been drawn to the statement of the master, Captain Thornhill, with regard to the panic amongst the lascars on board, whom he had to threaten with his revolver; and whether an inquiry will be held into the whole matter?
Mr. WEBBI have received no information as to panic having occurred amongst members of the crew of the s.s. "River Dare." An Inquiry has been ordered into the loss of the ship, and all relevant matters will be investigated.
