asked the President of the Board of Trade the value of our total exports to the Colonies in the year 1913; and what proportion this amount bears to our total exports?

Mr. WEBB

The aggregate value of the exports from this country of United Kingdom produce and manufactures consigned in 1913 to British Dominions and Possessions was £195,311,000, or 37 per cent. of the total of such exports to all countries. The value of the exports from this country both of United Kingdom and of foreign and British oversea merchandise consigned in 1913 to British Dominions and Possessions was £208,922,000, or 33 per cent. of the total of these exports to all countries.
