Mrs. WINTRINGHAMasked the Minister of Health whether the Reports of his inspectors show that the public can rely on the high hygienic quality of the large quantities of milk described on sale as nursery, invalids, or guaranteed; and, if not, whether he will consider how the public may be safeguarded in the matter?
§ Mr. WHEATLEYAccording to the information in my possession the answer to the first part of the question is "No." I will consider what steps it may be practicable to take to safeguard the public in this matter, but in the meantime I think the consumer would be well advised not to place too much reliance on descriptions and designations implying special hygienic qualities other than those authorised by the Milk (Special Designations) Order.
