§ Mr. AMMONThe question of the suspension of the retired pay of retired naval officers called out for service during the War was considered by the Officers' Pay Committee of 1919; this committee was appointed by the Admiralty and consisted of Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel 2306 Halsey, K.C.M.G., C.B. (President); Captain L. A. B. Donaldson, C.M.G., R.N.; Captain G. O. Stephenson, C.M.G., R.N.; Commander Dudley North, R.N.; and Acting-Paymaster Lieut.-Commander A. C. A. Janion, R.N. (Secretary).
