§ 13. Mr. FOOTasked the President of the Board of Trade if he has received an application for the appointment of a committee 2105 under the Safeguarding of Industries Act (Depreciated Currency) to consider the removal of the duty of 33⅓ per cent. imposed on imported gas mantles, on the ground that the German currency is now on a dollar basis; and, if so, what action he proposes to take?
