Mr. WEBBThe hon. Member is under a misapprehension. No such Committee was appointed by my predecessor, but certain investigations were conducted within the Department, which were, in fact, not brought to any conclusion; and the information is now more than a year old, and no longer adequately represents the facts. The question of further investigation will be considered.
