asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what tariff, if any, is put on building material coming into Great Britain from other countries?

Mr. SNOWDEN

So far as I am aware, no material used for building purposes is liable to Customs duty on importation into this country. If my hon. Friend has any particular article in mind, I shall be glad to make inquiries.
