HC Deb 10 March 1924 vol 170 cc1898-9
34. Sir VICTOR WARRENDER

asked the Prime Minister where the members of the Russian delegation shortly coming to London will be accommodated; and whether they will be the guests of His Majesty's Government?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am unable to give any information regarding the first part of the question, as the matter exclusively concerns the Soviet delegation itself. The answer to the second part is in the negative.

Mr. MILLS

Is it not usual, when negotiations have been broken off, and renewed again, that the Embassy appropriate to that particular Government should be re-occupied, and could not the Prime Minister tell us exactly what it costs the present Government to house the people occupying it now?

The PRIME MINISTER

My hon. Friend had better give me notice of that.
