HC Deb 10 March 1924 vol 170 c1925
95. Sir C. MORRISON-BELL

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the Government is taking any steps to improve the machinery of the existing conciliation committees or whether it is awaiting their intended supersession by the re-establishment of agricultural wages boards?

Mr. BUXTON

Any steps to improve the machinery of the existing conciliation committees would require fresh legislation. I hope that it will be possible before Easter to submit to the House my proposals for the better regulation of agricultural wages.
