§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Major Attlee)I have been asked to reply. The answer is in the affirmative. The War Office is in possession of detailed information on this subject, and a special committee of the Inter-Allied Military Commission of Control 1786 in Germany has been living in the works in question for four years. Nearly all the special apparatus for the production of war material has been destroyed, and replaced by machinery for the production of peace products.
