§ Mr. SHAWI have met representatives of the National Executive Council of the British Legion and discussed their proposals for dealing with unemployment. I explained the lines upon which the Government are dealing with this problem, and assured them that every proposal which appeared to have a practicable chance of improving the position was being considered.
