Mr. ROBERTSThe number of ex-service men employed in the Ministry of Pensions on the 1st March last was 12,283 and on the 1st instant the number was 11,691. The decrease in the numbers was due largely to normal wastage by resignation, etc., the number of discharges the same period due to reduced volume of work and changes in administration being approximately 220.
