HC Deb 25 June 1924 vol 175 c439
79. Mr. CLUSE

asked the Home Secretary whether a concession has recently been made by the licensing authorities at Scotland Yard to the London General Omnibus Company by passing a type of vehicle with a much lower road clearance than has been previously demanded?

Mr. HENDERSON

The Commissioner informs me that all omnibuses which have been licensed, including those of the London General Omnibus Company, comply with the regulations as to having and maintaining a 10-inch road clearance. The Regulations are of general application, and have not been altered for about two years.
