§ Mr. GOSLINGWhile I am not aware of any actual cases in which a railway company has suggested the precise form of financial assistance to which the hon. Member refers, I would remind him that the Trade Facilities Acts, the operation of which has recently been extended, are open to railway companies, and some important railway projects have already attracted guarantees under their provisions.
